Kid to Watch: Wangui Gitonga Miss Kenya 2013

Wangui Gitonga was crowned Miss World Kenya 2013 on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Safari park hotel, Nairobi.

The 23-year-old queen beat other contenders in the competition, going home with a whooping Ksh.1M and a right to represent her country at any world beauty contest for the next one year.

Born and raised in Kenya, Wangui is a linguistic student studying German in Goethe Institute, Mombasa. She also aspires to be a prominent hotelier with a diploma in Food and Beverage Management.
