Experienced educator for Scholastic

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified education professional to assume the role of Academic Manager at our head office in Shanghai.

Responsibilities
• Development, refinement and quality control of all academic-related materials
• Quality-control of teaching practices
• Conduct teacher training
• Quality-control and refinement of teacher training procedures and practices
• Work with Business Development to develop and refine supplementary education resources and programs
• Teach classes (maximum 7.5 hours per week)

Experience
• Significant teaching experience
• ESL/EFL teaching experience
• Development of educational materials/resources
• Delivering teacher training and/or education-related professional development
• Experience in a management role

Skills
• Intermediate-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strategic thinker
• Excellent communication skills

Education
• Bachelor degree or higher in education or related field

Other
• Professional presentation
• Excellent work-ethic
• No criminal record
