VA hospital employees send new secretary a letter begging to end ‘incompetence’ and fix worsening conditions

  The Washington, D.C., Veterans Affairs medical center was supposed to improve after a series of high-profile changes were made last year. But a series of internal reports shows conditions have deteriorated instead, and a group of hospital employees have taken the rare step of writing new VA Secretary Robert Wilkie to beg for help.
