A qualified candidate will:
•Have at least a BA degree (a Master's degree preferred) from an accredited college or university with a major or minor in the specific required area of teaching;
•Have AT LEAST TWO YEARS of secondary school teaching experience (student teaching may count);
•Have a teaching license in the required areas of teaching;
•Be able to communicate effectively communicate in English with Chinese high school students;
•Ideally have prior experience or familiarity with Chinese culture and Chinese students;
•Ideally be able to teach AP and/or pre-AP, A-Level courses and EFL courses.
Salary and Benefits include:
•Salary: 22,000 to 25,000 RMB per month (equivalent to $3,206 to $3,644 USD), or an annual salary of $32,060 to $36,440 USD, based on qualifications.
•Two round-trip international tickets per school year (up to 20,000 RMB or $3,225 USD).
•Housing allowance of 2,400 RMB per month.
•Free shuttle pass to downtown Guangzhou.
•Holiday bonus (up to 9,500 RMB, equivalent to $1,532 USD).
•Insurance package (2,000 RMB, equivalent to $322 USD).
