Greetings to you in Jesus Name. We received a lot of encouraging feedback from readers of the first edition of our Regional Newsletter. Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. Easter is around the corner. Is it really true? Did Jesus willingly die a horrible death on the cross and then come back to life? The idea seems impossible for our human minds to comprehend, yet the gospel message isn’t complete without both a brutal sacrifice and beautiful resurrection. A Rumor of Hope: The Good News of Easter walks you through the crucifixion and resurrection from the biblical narrative of those who were there. It gives credence to the good news that otherwise seems almost too good to be true. The good news is that the power of evil and sin has been shattered by the cross, and the power of death has been broken by the empty tomb. The Lord is alive, and he lives in us and through us, giving us the power to truly live. In this edition, we offer you Ray Stedman’s book, A Rumor of Hope: The Good News of Easter free for your Easter reading. This year, ODB Ministries Kenya Prisons Outreach enters its eighteenth year!. Every year we distribute between 2,500 – 4,000 copies of our resources to prisoners in over five centers and these are hardly ever enough. We bring you images from one of our recent such visit to the prisons. Recently God laid it on our hearts to start producing Our Daily Bread Devotionals in Nigerian sign language for the deaf community, to assist them in growing spiritually. We have just launched the first set of these devotionals. Please pray along with us that these resources will achieve their desired purpose. Our mission of making the life-changing wisdom of the Bible understandable and accessible to all has become very crucial at this time.
